BISHOP ARDIE B. SHAW

Bishop Ardie Shaw is a native Baltimorean born June 7, 1963. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System; graduating from Douglass Senior High in 1982. Bishop Shaw is a lifelong member of the MCHCA. At the age of 12 years old, he began playing the organ for his home church Mt. Calvary Holy Temple under the pastorate of the late Bishop Harold Williams and Dr. Amanda Williams.

Bishop Shaw received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After graduating from Douglass Senior High School. He further his education and enrolled at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio where he received a BA degree in Philosophy  & Religion. Additionally, Bishop Shaw attended Liberty University earning a BS in Christian Counseling and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Health Care Professional Chaplaincy at Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity.​

In May of 1988, Bishop Shaw received his ordination credentials through the Mt. Calvary Holy Church District Convocation in Washington, D.C. Bishop Shaw founded New Life Mt. Calvary Holy Church in 1990. In January 2004, through the leading of Holy Spirit New Calvary Life Mt. Calvary Holy Church and Mt. Calvary Holy Temple merged to become one church (New Calvary Life Church and Ministries).

Bishop Shaw has over 30 years of pastoral experience. Also, he proudly served as District Overseer for the Midwest District Jurisdiction from 2017 to 2021.​

Bishop Shaw has been married to his wife, CoPastor Vernette Shaw for over 30 years and together they work as a dynamic team in Christian ministry. From their union, God blessed them with two children, Aaron and Ariel. They have one grandson, Aden whom they love dearly. 

Bishop Shaw's deep healing and deliverance approach to ministry transcends cultural barriers. He is a gifted preacher, proclaimer, and teacher of God's word!

Co-Pastor Vernette Shaw

Co-Pastor Vernette Shaw is a native Baltimorean, born and raised in Baltimore City. She received her formal education through the Baltimore City Public School System and furthered her education at Lincoln University, Lincoln Pa and the University of Pittsburgh, where she received a B.A. in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration/Policy Analysis, respectively. 

​She was ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s Church in May 2013. After serving faithfully in ministry, Bishop Ardie Shaw was led by the Lord to elevate Elder Shaw to Co-Pastor of New Calvary Life Church and Ministries in June 2017.  Co-Pastor’s passion is prayer. She is an anointed intercessor and is the founder of Another Language Intercessory Prayer Ministry (ALIP) which is a ministry to influence the world and strengthen the body, one prayer at a time.

Co-Pastor Shaw is also a noted lecturer, seminar speaker and teacher and has presented various seminars and workshops over the years. Co-Pastor Shaw has a long list of accomplishments but her greatest joy is being married to her high-school sweetheart for over 30 years and loving on her two beautiful and blessed adult children (Aaron & Ariel) and adorable grandson, Ayden. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, interior decorating, spending quality time with her family and encouraging her Facebook followers.
